Grant S. Ellis

Grant is an experienced litigator in New Jersey state and federal courts. His practice, long a plaintiff’s practice, has in recent years concentrated on defending seniors and their caregivers in evictions, involuntary discharges, elder abuse and neglect, and nursing facility collections defense matters. Grant also enjoys handling the kind of miscellaneous litigation and transactional matters that pop up as a result of being part of a boutique law firm.

Grant is a graduate of Kean University and Seton Hall Law School, and during law school, interned at the Office of Administrative Law and the Essex County criminal courts. After law school, Grant was a law clerk to a judge in Somerset County. He later graduated from the Richard J. Grant has been listed as a “Rising Star” in the annual New Jersey Super Lawyers magazine continuously since 2015. He lives in East Brunswick, New Jersey and is active in his church with his wife, Lisa, and his five children.
