Seth A. Kurs

Seth is counsel to Archer Law Office. He brings to the firm a wealth of varied experience as a general practitioner, as well as a great deal of life experience. He currently practices in such areas as commercial and residential real estate, civil litigation, wills and estates planning, probate, and elder law.

Seth received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Thomas Edison State University, and his Juris Doctor degree from Brooklyn Law School.  He joined Archer Law Office in 2017.

After law school, Seth served as a judicial clerk in the Supreme Court of New York, Kings County, Criminal Division, Domestic Violence Part, with the Honorable Charles A. Posner.

In addition to his legal experience, He has been an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) for more than thirty years and has served in both volunteer and career capacities, in both urban and suburban communities. To this day, Seth maintains current certifications and continues to serve as a volunteer on his local rescue squad.  As a founding member of the Emergency Medical Services and Emergency Medical Transportation Affinity Group of the American Health Lawyers Association, Seth united his legal experience with his experience as an EMT. Together with other attorneys who also serve as EMTs or Paramedics, he co-authored a legal treatise on EMS Law. Seth serves as corporate counsel to private EMS agencies, and pro bono counsel to a number of volunteer EMS agencies and fire companies. Seth is a lecturer on the Medical, Legal, and Ethical Considerations of EMS, scope of practice, communications, as well as the proper documentation of medical records.

Seth has been a guest writer for the local newspaper, The Windsor-Hights Herald, as well as for the New Jersey Gold Cross, a magazine published by the New Jersey State First Aid Counsel.

Seth served as one of the original members of the Mercer County Domestic Violence Victim Response Team, which provides counseling and assistance to victims of domestic violence. The team began as a collaborative effort between Womanspace and the East Windsor Police Department, and now provides services throughout Mercer County.
